Toxzon attempts to destroy Max Steel inside a deadly video game. Mega Metal Elementor launches the perfect attack on Max Steel while he's on vacation on a tropical, South Pacific island. Makino's humanoid form arrives on Earth through a massive wormhole and leads a devastating attack as he tries to defeat Max Steel and N-Tek. On the destroyer in Earth's orbit, Max must save Steel from Makino and stop him from opening a portal that will bring his armada through to Earth.
Max and Steel decide they need the Turbo Star to defend Earth from Makino, who is now back with his armada and on his way to Earth. And when Dredd offers him the pieces if he can come up with the third piece, Max must first locate the missing piece and then decide if Dredd can be trusted. To his surprise Max is actually making friends with a bully, Butch.
However when an Ultralink attacks and bonds with Butch, they become linked and it's up to Max to separate them. After getting framed by Extroyer, Max must work to prove his innocence and repair his good name. Halloween Night and Max is locked inside the Museum with the rest of his class from school. But, when they accidentally stumble upon a meteor that is a chunk of Takion, they inadvertently alert Mega Metal Elementor to its existence.
An Ultralink that isn't quite sure it wants to be fighting for the Glory of Makino any more hides from Mega Metal Elementor. Makino has created what he thinks is the programming antidote to Steel's anomaly and reboot him. However the reprogramming fails and does something even stranger. When one of N-Tek's Hellicarriers gets infected with a virus and starts plummeting to the ground, it's up to Max to try and get the deactivation code from an old enemy - Toxzon.
However since the loss of Fishy, Toxzon is now comatose and his own bodies toxins are destroying him. It's now up to Max to detoxify Toxzon and retrieve the code before the carrier crashes. While Ven-Ghan is convinced of Steel's innocence and now his ally, the Black Star Council still seeks justice against the "evil" Steel. Feeling the pressure of Makino's approaching planet ship, Max Steel tells Forge he wants to finish what his father started - he wants to use the Turbo Star to destroy Makino.
But when Forge forbids him, Max and Steel go it alone and try to retrieve it from Dredd anyway. Makino has arrived and he's not messing around. It's up to Max Steel to save the planet. He must battle Makino head to head to buy time for Molly and Forge to put the finishing touches on the Turbo Star.
Makino is dead, but his helmet remains intact and is looking for someone worthy of its power. This leads to Max Steel having to fight with other Ultralinks so that the helmet stays out of their hands. Miles Dredd revives an old project of his, a monster named Morphos, which escapes from N-Tek.
Max Steel must deal with this problem before it destroys Copper Canyon. In the process, Max learns how to combine more than one Turbo mode. Morphos has returned and is now stronger than ever! To prove he is the greatest villain of all, he begins to mimic powers of all the enemies of Max Steel, forcing Max to forge an alliance with his old enemies to defeat him.
Mortum returns as a robot zombie, emerging from his grave to absorb the brainwaves of humanity. Now, Max and his Team Turbo will face their greatest challenge yet!
Will they be able to defeat Mortum and save the world from the Technopocalypse!? To prevent Lord Nexus' minion, Terrorax, from taking over the world alongside his technological super villain league, Max and his Team Turbo must control a completely new level of T. Energy never seen before. However, after Terrorax manages to create his own version of Max's energy named Terror Energy, his own team of twisted villains plans on permanently deactivating technology from humanity, Max and his team must act swiftly to stop them.

S1, Ep A cursed sword, which Jason Naught seeks, turns Kirby into an overly-aggressive ninja run amok and ignites a three-way struggle. Steel's obsession with comic book superheroes forces Max to look and sound the part while handling the recently escaped and vengeance-minded Toxzon. Max and Steel receive a convincing argument from Colonel Castle to join the U. Army in its fight against Miles Dredd. When Air Elementor attacks N-Tek, our heroes must defeat the powerful beast while unsure what prompted the unwarranted attack.
Forge's capture puts unprepared Berto in charge, and Max finds the combined Elementors in an odd condition. When Max buys a car with a secret stash hidden inside, it puts him on a collision course with Extroyer. When Max tells Sydney that his secret identity is Max Steel, she gets mixed up in one of his adventures against none other than Ultimate Elementor. Toxzon exacts revenge by turning former boss Molly into his evil partner, Toxiana. Max and Steel go on a road trip for some answers, unaware their stolen component is a transmitter tracked by Jason Naught.
Toxzon aggressively poisons the world's oceans with radioactive goo but offers to stop the toxic onslaught if his pet Fishy is returned. Steel winds up mistaken as Max's "shoe warmer" science fair project, which Extroyer recognizes and steals. To settle their infighting, the four Elementors split up to each hunt down Max Steel, winner to become leader when they recombine. After weeks of attacks against Max, N-Tek turns to Toxzon for help against the reconstituted and unstoppable Ultimate Elementor.
A top priority emergency distracts Forge from finally making a full disclosure to Max and Steel. The Makino invasion of Earth begins, with UltraLinks merging, possessing and weaponizing whatever they touch. When Max fails in his first attempt to steal back a computer code disk, N-Tek must bid for it at an auction. Josh and Laura's Spring Break vacation in Baja turns into a Max Steel adventure, as they encounter pirates with an earthquake machine.
Team Steel's new mobile base of operations, the Behemoth, is hijacked with 'Berto trapped inside. Trapped by a volcano, Max listens to a log of one of his late father's missions and imagines what it was like. Starting off the season by saving a hijacked NY City tour bus, Rachel is then promoted to be Max's boss, while Josh is approached by a pubescent girl to support the kids' efforts to get an extreme sports park built.
Laura isn't in the episode -- but is mentioned as leaving on a one-year trip. Oh, and Dread managed to jam Max's link with Berto, thank you. We're left with Dread in prison, vowing that ""it's not over, Max! Things are quiet for a few days at N-Tek with the robotic dog problems of last week, 'Berto's now developed a robotic cat reminiscent of Sony's Aibo [who's the studio making this show!?!
While Josh talks with the submarine scientist, 'Berto hacks in to their systems and finds out that there's no natural cause to the tsunami. They manage to fight off his minions, but L'Est. Max is dispatched to the Amazon rain forest to investigate, as large swaths of the forest are mysteriously being cleared.
There's another N-Tek operative, named Kat, who has been on the job for a few days, but her communications have gone silent. Also, 'Berto has to come along, because Max's communications won't work properly inside the dense rain forest huh?? Being from Columbia, he knows Brazil well. Kat doesn't need any help, thank you. Nor does Max need Kat. But they have to work together, or at least in close proximity. Orders, you know. Kat is mildly pleased when Max saves them from an enormous boa constrictor, while they're motoring up river, but the boat sinks, and she turns sarcastic again.
They find some of the clear cuts in the forest, where 'Berto examines a felled tree, and identifies it as one with a sp. The evil villain Electrix is angry with her history of being defeated by Max Steel and his crew. She becomes bent on revenge, but this time with a plan. Josh is eating dinner over at Pete's house when he is called to work by 'Berto.
Pete, who now knows Josh is also secret-agent Max, begs to come along, but Josh tells him no. Enroute, he discovers Pete stowed away in the back seat, still wanting to help his pal Josh with his secret agent role.
Pete will cause no end of distraction and trouble for Max, today. Approaching the Arctic, Max has to fight off anti-aircraft missles from the villain, while Pete has to fight off motion sickness. They end up crash-landed close to the research station, and start to ski the rest of the way, where Max has to fight off a huge polar bear without harming this endangered species! At the research station, they discover that Vitriol has tapped in to the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, and try to discover whether they're stealing oil or planning to cause an ecological disaster.
An unsatisfied employee is holding hostages in a high security building and plans to blow it up. Regrouping back at N-Tek, one of Electrix's electrobots captured in a previous episode attacks Max!
Max is none too pleased about being replaced by ""a bucket of bolts with a motherboard strapped on"", but 'Berto makes him understand that it is just to help, not replace him. Jefferson notes it would have been perfect to send into the volcano, instead of human agents, but Max is still skeptical. They undertake to train the new ""agent"" over at the N-Tek training island. Things begin to go wrong, and it turns out that Electrix included special code on the motherboard that, if captured, would re-assert the need to attack N-Tek agents, despite 'Berto's programming.
The electrobot activates its three pals in storage, and they take the Behemou. Episode ""Space Opera"" in this database, listed as ""Shooting Stars"" on Cartoon Network 'Berto has been dying to do something that allows public recognition, unlike all his N-Tek work, and he gets word from NASA that he and his optics experiment have been approved to fly on the next Space Cruiser flight. Max agrees to give him a week of training to get him into shape for the flight.
It's clear that 'Berto really is used to a lot of sitting!
